Upon arrival in Marrakech, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your riad in the medina. Your 6 days tour from Marrakech begins the next day with a journey through the Atlas Mountains to the stunning Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, including a stop in Ouarzazate, before continuing to the Dades Valley. Day three takes you through the impressive Todra Gorges and via Erfoud to Merzouga. You’ll spend two nights here to fully immerse yourselves in the desert experience, complete with camel riding. Afterwards, you will return to Marrakech for one final overnight stay before your airport transfer the following morning.

Continue towards the desert, stopping in Rissani, the ancient capital and birthplace of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite dynasty. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a memorable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your luxury Sahara Desert camp for an unforgettable night under the stars.
Immerse yourself fully in the magic of the Sahara today. Experience the tranquility of a sunrise camel ride across the dunes. Visit with local nomadic families to learn about their traditional way of life. Discover the village of Khamlia, famous for its captivating Gnawa music performances. Depart the Sahara and journey north towards the imperial city of Fes. Travel through the lush Ziz Valley, admiring its extensive palm groves contrasted against the arid landscape. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through fragrant cedar forests where you may encounter playful Barbary macaques (monkeys). Make a brief stop near Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes for your overnight stay.
Dive into the medieval heart of Fes, one of the world’s largest living medieval cities, with an expert local guide. Explore the labyrinthine medina, visit the historic Al Quaraouiyine University, witness the traditional methods at the famous tanneries, and wander through the bustling souks. In the afternoon, drive west to Casablanca. Upon arrival, marvel at the architectural grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, dramatically situated on the Atlantic coast.
Travel south from Casablanca, returning to the vibrant “Red City” of Marrakech. Along the way, you’ll have the option to make stops, perhaps exploring the historic Portuguese Cistern in El Jadida or visiting the coastal town of Safi, known for its pottery. Your memorable Moroccan tour concludes upon arrival back in Marrakech, where you can relax at your riad or soak in the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa square one last time.
